tortilla pizza
Rose absolutely LOVES her High Five magazine. She pours over it as soon as she gets it in the mail. This month's issue had a recipe for Pocket-Pizza Turnovers. We (by we I mean I) decided to put a healthy spin on it. Instead of using pizza dough we used 100% whole grain tortillas. Add a little pizza sauce, cheese, some peppers and VOILA!, you have a yummy meal. This recipe has been added to our favorite's list.
I added some of my favorite salsa for a little kick. It was delicious together. (available at Walmart)
I was wishing that we had mushrooms. Next time I'll add them. Rose says next time she won't add them. The kicker is that if we had had them in the fridge and added them this time, she wouldn't have thought anything about it. As far as adding them next time, that's a no go. But not if I can help it. :) There's a window there. You have to jump in it when you get the chance!
