growing little ladies

Rose had Growing Little Ladies last week (ballet day camp).  Each day they danced, did a craft, and learned how to be ladies.  Rose recited what she learned to me all week.

"We need to chew with our mouths closed."
"Miss Kate says it's important to say please and thank you."
"When we eat, we shouldn't put our elbows on the table."

She had a blast.  And I thank Miss Kate for backing up the things that I've taught Rose for years.  It's good for her to hear it from other people too.

 Rose loves being the leader.

Rose with Miss Kate.  Rose will be moving up to level 1 in August.  She is so excited!  And she's glad that Miss Kate will still be her teacher.  In level 1 she'll be required to have a black leotard and her hair in a high bun.  Time to get serious.  Rose hopes they'll be doing barre work.
